Which AI assistant is best for my business?
It depends on the tools you already use. If your business runs on Microsoft 365, Copilot fits naturally; on Google Workspace, Gemini does. ChatGPT and Claude are strong all-round assistants. We'll recommend one based on your work, your budget and your privacy needs, not on hype.
Is my business data safe with AI?
It can be, if it's set up correctly. We choose business plans that don't use your data to train public models, turn on the admin and privacy controls, and give your team simple rules for what should never be pasted into an AI tool. Everything runs on your own computers and in accounts in your business's name; Peak Beak doesn't host your data. For very sensitive information, we can set up AI that runs entirely on your own computers.

How much does AI assistant setup cost?
Setup and support are billed at our business IT rate of $125/hr, with a one-hour minimum, or as a fixed-price quote for larger projects. Individuals and households are billed at our $79/hr home rate. AI subscriptions (for example ChatGPT, Copilot or Gemini) are paid to those companies separately.
What is Gerald?
Gerald is the Peak Beak Assistant, our own always-on AI agent. He's installed on your computer with a simple Peak Beak app, and keeps working on the tasks you give him around the clock. Like everything we set up, he runs on your own hardware.
Can AI replace my staff?
Usually not, and we won't pretend otherwise. AI is best at taking the busywork off your team: drafting emails and quotes, summarizing documents, answering common questions and keeping notes. We'll show you where it genuinely saves time in your business.
Do you work on-site or remotely?
Both. Most setup and training can happen remotely, and on-site visits are free within 30 miles of St. Clairsville.
